Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Prelauncher ("the Service"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What Prelauncher is

Prelauncher is a toolkit for validating app ideas before building them: it generates marketing funnels and ad creatives, hosts those funnels, tracks visitor behaviour, and reports whether your idea shows real buyer demand. Higher plans add the ability to sell your app through your own Stripe account.

2. Accounts & trials

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. A valid payment card is collected at signup via Stripe; your card is automatically charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Cancel anytime from the Billing page. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Prices may change; existing subscriptions keep their price until renewal, and we'll notify you of changes before they apply.

3. Plan limits

Each plan includes limits (number of active projects, generated ad assets per month, and feature availability) as described on the pricing page. We may adjust limits with notice; we won't reduce what an active subscription already includes mid-term.

4. Your funnels & your visitors

• You're responsible for the content of your funnels, your ads, and your compliance with the ad platforms' policies (e.g. Meta, TikTok) and the laws of the markets you target.
• Validation mode never charges visitors. The paywall in prelaunch mode measures intent only — no payment is processed. You must not represent a validation funnel as an existing product in ways that mislead visitors into believing they have purchased something.
• If you collect visitor emails or other personal data through your funnel, you are the controller of that data and must handle it lawfully (see the privacy policy for how we process it on your behalf).
• When you sell through the Service (Grow plan), payments go through your Stripe account; you are the merchant of record for your customers.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to promote anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful; don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; don't resell access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

6. AI-generated content

Funnels, copy, scores, and images are generated by AI from your inputs. You're responsible for reviewing them before publishing. Idea assessments and verdicts are statistical guidance, not financial or business advice — the decision to build (or not) is yours.

7. Availability & data

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may modify features over time. You can export your data (CSV) at any time while subscribed. If your subscription lapses, your public funnels are paused; your data is retained so you can resubscribe and continue, though we may delete data from accounts inactive for more than 12 months after notice.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses — including ad spend, lost profits, or decisions made based on validation results.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
