Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

Two groups: account holders (you, the developer validating ideas) and funnel visitors (people who land on validation funnels run by account holders). We process visitor data on the account holder's behalf.

2. Data we collect from account holders

• Account: email address and a hashed password.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and plan state — never your card number.
• Product data: the projects, ideas, funnels, and assets you create.
• Usage: generation counts for plan limits.

3. Data we collect from funnel visitors

• Visit data: a random visitor token (cookie), truncated IP address, device type, country, and which ad/source brought the visit. Used for the account holder's statistics.
• Responses: answers visitors choose to give in a funnel (e.g. questionnaire selections) and contact details they choose to submit (e.g. email for launch notification).
• Payment-intent data: in validation mode, card details entered on the paywall go directly to Stripe and are used to create a SetupIntent only — no charge is made and we never see or store card numbers.
• Pixels: account holders may attach their own Meta/TikTok pixels to their funnels; those fire under the account holder's responsibility and the platforms' own policies.

4. How we use data

To run the Service: authenticate you, bill subscriptions, generate funnels and creatives (your idea text is sent to AI providers — OpenAI and Google — to generate content), compute statistics and verdicts, and send transactional email. We do not sell personal data, run third-party advertising on the Service, or use your ideas to train models.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie for signed-in account holders and a random visitor token on funnels for attribution. No cross-site tracking cookies are set by Prelauncher itself.

6. Processors we rely on

• Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
• OpenAI & Google (Gemini) — AI text and image generation.
• Meta — only if you connect your ad account (coming soon) or attach your pixel.
• Hosting / infrastructure providers for the web service and database.

7. Retention & deletion

Account data is retained while your account exists. Deleting a project deletes its funnel and visitor data. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@prelauncher.app — we complete deletion within 30 days. Funnel visitors can request deletion of their submitted data via the account holder or directly through us.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, Australian Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Email us and we'll act on it.

9. Changes

We'll announce material changes by email or in-app before they take effect.
